World's Cosplay Video Championship, або ж Світовий Відеочемпіонат з Косплею – це змагання, яке дає можливість косплеєрам з усього світу проявити свою майстерність у відтворенні загальновідомих японських образів. Конкурс відповідає головним принципам World Cosplay Summit і має на меті заохочення творчості та креативного підходу до косплею. Основними критеріями оцінювання переможця є уважність під час репродукції костюму, висока якість постановки відеоролика та акторська майстерність, яку має показати учасник.

Цього року нашу країну на World's Cosplay Championship Video Division (online) представлятимуть Ririt та Borf_animal, які зайняли друге місце у відборі World Cosplay Summit Ukraine 2019.

World's Cosplay Video Championship is a competition that lets cosplayers from all around the world show their mastery of recreating famous Japanese characters. This Championship follows the principles of World Cosplay Summit and encourages creativity in cosplay. The criteria for highest scores are accuracy of costume, quality of videoclip and participants' acting skills.

This year we have two participants from Ukraine who will represent our country at World's Cosplay Championship Video Division (online) - Ririt and Borf_animal, both took second place at World Cosplay Summit Ukraine 2019.

Нікнейм: Ririt

Коротко про себе: Привіт! Моє ім'я Маргарита. Друзі також звуть мене Селті, Клинок повелителя та Ольга. Всі ці імена належать персонажам, на яких я робила косплей. Я завжди обожнювала уявляти себе на місці різних персонажів з кінострічок та мультфільмів. Пишаюся тим, що мені вдалось втілити мрії в реальність і перетворити дитячі фантазії в справу життя.

Мої досягнення: За три роки, які займаюсь косплеєм, я встигла попрацювати також і в гейм-індустрії. Наприклад, я стала прототипом для ігрового персонажа, а саме для Ольги з Chernobylite. На Comic Cone Ukraine 2018 зайняла перше місце в категорії «груповий виступ». Була запрошеним гостем на фестивалях WeGame та VIDEOZHARA, де працювала на стендах DXracer&Razer і Chernobylite.

Nickname: Ririt

Brief: Hello! My name is Marharyta, also known as Celty, Lord's Blade or just Olga for friends. All these names belong to characters I made cosplays of. I always adored imagining myself as different characters from cartoons and movies. And I'm really proud that I’ve managed to turn my dreams into a real lifestyle.

Achievements: Three years of cosplaying also brought me into videogame industry. For example, I became a prototype of a game character named Olga from Chernobylite. Besides, I took first place in group category of Comic Con 2018 cosplay competition and also were an invited guest at WeGame and Videozhara festivals, working as a model at DXRacer, Razer and Chernobylite stands.

Нікнейм: Borf_animal

Коротко про себе: Привіт, мене звуть Віталій. Я з дитинства захоплювався героями, яких бачив у кіно. Коли мені було вісім років, я подивися «Володаря перснів» і був в захваті від персонажа Арагорна. Я подумав, що хотів би бути цим героєм. З цього все і почалось. Займаючись косплеєм, можна бути ким завгодно – і це найкраще. В момент, коли виходиш на сцену, ти перестаєш бути звичайною людиною та перетворюєшся на персонажа, якого обрав – героя чи лиходія.

Мої досягнення: У 2017 році я відвідав свій перший конвент. А вже у 2018 вперше переміг за кордоном на фестивалі Gamescom. У 2020 – World Cosplay Summit. Серед моїх найвідоміших персонажів Жнець з гри Overwatch, Арторіас (Artorias the Abbyswalker), Відьмак школи Ведмедя та Сталкер зі всесвіту Метро.

Nickname: Borf_animal

Brief: Hi, my name is Vitalii. From the very childhood I've been fancy of cinema heroes. When I was eight, I watched "The Lord of the Rings" and admired Aragorn so much that it would be awesome to turn myself into this character. That was only the beginning. Being a cosplayer, I can turn myself into anyone I want. Every time I step on a stage I stop being myself, from that moment I am a hero, or a villain - depends on which image I decided to choose that day.

Achievements: I visited my first con in 2017, and the very next year I already won first place in a foreign cosplay competition - at Gamescon 2018. Then I won World Cosplay Summit in 2020. My most known characters are Reaper from Overwatch, Artorias the Abbyswalker, Witcher from the school of Bear and Stalker from Metro Universe.
